About
I’ve spent my career in the room where decisions get made.
Sarah Katz. Founder of SheDisrupts. Operator and investor. Helping women build AI-native companies before the market catches up.

The Story
I was born in Belarus. For two decades I worked as a consultant for hundreds of growing tech companies, including the last 8 as a founding partner of Spaulding Ridge, where we grew the company from zero to over $100M in revenue, becoming President in 2021.
In 2018 I went back to where I was born and asked the question that’s shaped everything since: why should it matter where you were born, or what your gender is? My dad answered that question for me when I was little. I told him boys run faster than girls. He looked at me and said: ‘Run faster.’ That voice stayed with me. Now AI is the great equalizer, and SheDisrupts exists to help women build AI-native companies before the market catches up.

Outside the Work
What keeps me sharp.
I’ve learned that the work gets better when I take care of how I live the rest of my life. Not the polished version. The actual rhythm.
So I run. I lift. I meditate. I read until my eyes hurt. I find water, lakes, oceans, anywhere I can be near it. I split my time between San Francisco and Chicago, which means two cities, two skies, two sets of friends I love.
I’m a nerd. I love fashion and books in equal measure. I’m energized by women building something real and conversations that push past the obvious. New experiences sharpen me. Pushing the status quo keeps me honest.
